Murder arrests after woman's body found in Bury St Edmunds house

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman's body was found at a house in Bury St Edmunds.

Suffolk Police officers were called to the property on Anselm Avenue by the ambulance service at 10:20 GMT.

A 49-year-old man was arrested this morning, with a 22-year-old man taken into custody this evening.

The woman's next of kin have been told of the death, police said. A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out later.

Both men are in custody at Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre.
