Derek Thomson denies pushing man off Ipswich bus

A man from Ipswich has denied pushing a 67-year-old man off a bus, leaving him with a serious head injury.

The victim was taken to hospital in a critical condition after falling from the bus at Defoe Road, Ipswich, on 13 December.

Derek Thomson, 27, of Riverside Road, Ipswich, pleaded not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm without intent at Ipswich Crown Court.

He will return to the court to stand trial at a date to be set.
