A nurse could be struck off by a disciplinary panel after he was convicted of sex offences.

Kuljeet Drubra, formerly of Lowestoft, is serving a three-year community order for a number of sex offences.

They included indecent assaults, voyeurism and making an indecent image of a child.

Drubra, now living in Buckinghamshire, faces a separate charge with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) of possessing indecent images of patients.

It is understood Drubra had practised in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

The NMC has charged him with possessing 12 "indecent and inappropriate images" of patients between 2003 and October 2011.

The NMC charge followed a referral by Suffolk police and the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in January last year.

As well as the community order imposed by Ipswich Crown Court, Drubra was given a three-year supervision order, put on the register of sex offenders and told to participate in the Thames Valley Offenders Group Work Programme.
