Man released from hospital arrested over Ipswich kidnap

A 23-year-old man from Ipswich has been arrested in relation to a kidnapping in the town.

He was arrested after being released from Ipswich Hospital, where he was being treated for injuries sustained while trying to evade police.

The man has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap, burglary, assault, false imprisonment and possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply.

Police say a man in his 20s was kidnapped from Bell Close on 4 March.
