Mother uses internet to search for son missing in Thailand
The mother of a Suffolk man who went missing in Thailand two weeks ago has set up a page on social networking site Facebook hoping he will see it and get in touch.
Tom Armstrong, 22, who lives in Kelsale, was expected home from Bangkok on 9 January but he never got on the plane.
Mr Armstrong, who has been on the island resort of Kotoah since April, emailed his mother to say he had "run into trouble".
Since his disappearance, money has been withdrawn from his bank account. Suffolk Police are now liaising with officers in Thailand.
