Man charged with causing two deaths on A14 near Trimley

Christine Taylor's Fiat Punto was travelling on the A14 towards Felixstowe

A lorry driver has been charged with causing two deaths by dangerous driving on the A14 in Suffolk last August.

Christine Taylor, 59, from Coventry, died near Trimley St Mary after the car she was driving was involved in a crash with two lorries.

Her grandson, William Taylor, 15, also from Coventry, was a passenger in the car and died in hospital.

Roger Fuller, 50, from Willow Way in Harwich, will appear before magistrates in Ipswich on 6 February.

Ms Taylor's Fiat Punto was travelling on the eastbound carriageway of the A14 when the crash happened.

A second passenger in the Fiat, a man in his 60s, was taken to Ipswich Hospital and later transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

He is still in hospital, but in a stable condition.
