Man found dead on Buxhall road may have been clearing snow

A Suffolk man who was found dead on an icy road may have been clearing snow.

Graham Clark, who was in his 70s, was found on Brettenham Road, Buxhall near Stowmarket with head injuries at 15:40 GMT on Tuesday.

Police said neighbours saw him clearing snow from his driveway a short time before.

Sgt Bob Patterson said: "Initial reports suggest that the man may have fallen into the road and we are trying to piece together what happened."

Police are also investigating whether Mr Clark was hit by a car.

"We are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed what happened to get in contact with us," said Sgt Patterson.
