Fifteen school laptops have been stolen in the third case of its kind reported in Suffolk in two weeks.

The RM computers, valued at about £3,500, were stolen from Moulton CEVC Primary School, near Newmarket, on Monday night or early Tuesday morning.

At the weekend, 16 Dell laptops were taken from Risby CEVCP and over the Christmas holidays, 15 laptops were taken from Rougham CEVC Primary School.

Suffolk Police said no link had been made between the thefts.

Thieves smashed a window to gain entry to the school in Moulton before taking the computers from an unsecure cabinet, police said.

A spokesperson said the force was currently investigating a "handful" of computer thefts from schools in the county.
