Nearly 100 people employed at an engineering firm in Suffolk are to lose their jobs when it closes its factory, a union has said.

Union Unite said the Gardner Denver factory in Ipswich, formerly known as the CompAir Reavell factory, would be shut.

The factory, in White House Road, makes high-pressure air compressors.

The firm, which has bases around the world, has declined to comment on the job losses or the factory closure.
