A Suffolk teacher has denied 30 sexual offences against three girls.

Stephen Benson, 50, of Pearsons Way, Copdock, pleaded not guilty to the charges at Ipswich Crown Court.

He is accused of committing 12 rapes, 14 indecent assaults of a female, two counts of sexual activity with a female child under 16 and two sexual assaults of a female between 1989 and 2011.

He has been released on conditional bail and is due to go on trial at Ipswich Crown Court on 25 February.

Mr Benson is currently suspended from Copleston High School.
