Ex Suffolk priest Haley Dossor remanded on sex offences

A retired Suffolk priest has appeared in court charged with 15 sex offences which allegedly involved three victims between 1990 and 2004.

The charges against Haley Dossor, 71, from Kirton, near Felixstowe, include three counts of indecent assault on a child and 11 on an adult.

The defendant has been remanded on bail and is due to reappear before magistrates in Ipswich in August.

He retired as priest-in-charge of St Mary at the Elms, in Ipswich, in 2006.

The 71-year-old is also facing one other sexual offence against a male aged 13 or over.

The defendant has yet to enter a plea.
