Suspicious vehicle at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk 'safe'

Bomb disposal experts have declared a "suspicious vehicle" at a Suffolk airbase to be safe.

The Ministry of Defence unit examined the vehicle at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk after being called to the scene at 09:00 BST.

They said the substance which led to the alarm being raised was a "fertiliser-like material".

The A1065 Brandon to Mildenhall road, which was closed as a precautionary measure, has been reopened.
