Clare free school welcomes first pupils
Suffolk's first free school has opened at Clare where parents have been campaigning for their own school for five years.
Stour Valley Community School governors' chairman Keith Haisman said there had been a huge drive for a small school in a relatively rural environment.
But there is concern in the community that a third secondary school in the area will have an impact on numbers at the other two schools.
