Essex man held over four raids at Suffolk post office

A man from Essex has been arrested by police investigating four armed raids on a Suffolk village post office.

The post office on The Street in Capel St Mary, near Ipswich, has been robbed three times and subject to an attempted robbery once, since December 2008.

Two of the armed raids took place in the space of a week earlier in the year.

A 43-year-old man from Manningtree is being questioned about the incidents, police said.
