CCTV image released of Hopton post office armed robbery

Detectives investigating an armed robbery on a Suffolk village post office have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.

A man entered Hopton Post Office in Thelnetham Road, Hopton, armed with a knife and a handgun on Wednesday morning.

He threatened staff and made off with cash in a dark-coloured people carrier with two other people inside.

He is described as in his 20s and between 5ft 10in (1.7m) and 6ft (1.8m).

Police said he had been wearing wearing dark glasses, a grey fleece and a red baseball cap.
