V Festival 2014: Setting up at Weston Park

15 August 2014 Last updated at 20:57 BST

The Midlands' biggest annual music festival is to take place over the weekend - drawing an estimated 85,000 revellers.

Organisers say setting up for the V Festival, which has been held at Weston Park on the Staffordshire-Shropshire border since 1999, requires "military planning".

Festival boss Andy Redhead likened the process to creating a "small town" on the 1,000-acre site.

BBC Midlands Today's Ben Sidwell reports.
