Teenagers stabbed in Chesterton underpass
Two 17-year-old boys have been treated in hospital after being stabbed in an underpass in Staffordshire.
It happened at 18:30 BST on Thursday in an underpass off Dimsdale Parade West, in the Chesterton area of Newcastle.
Seven men, aged between 15 and 22, all from the local area, have been arrested in connection with the incident, Staffordshire Police said.
One of the injured boys was stabbed repeatedly, while the other was not seriously hurt.
Ch Insp Clare Riley said: "Thankfully the two injured teenagers appear to be recovering quickly, and we have already spoken to a number of witnesses about the incident.
"A forensic examination of the scene will be completed shortly."
