Sleepwalking woman found safe and well in Stretton

A woman with a history of sleepwalking who went missing from her Staffordshire home has been found safe and well.

Wendy Richards, 43, was reported missing on Sunday morning after last being seen on Saturday evening.

She was located in the Stretton area of Burton-upon-Trent later on Sunday, Staffordshire Police said.

An appeal for help in finding Ms Richards reached nearly 80,000 people through shares and comments on social media, police said.

Police had said she is prone to sleepwalk and had previously been found some distance from home.
