Stoke Council dog mess data used to target warden patrols
The worst areas for dog fouling are to be targeted by a council after it analysed complaints it received.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council said it has looked at telephone complaints made over the past three years.
There will be extra patrols around "hotspot locations", the council said
Councillor Andy Platt said: "If we catch owners leaving dog mess we have the power to give them an £80 fine, and they could even go to magistrates' court if they fail to pay."
