Liberty Turner, 20, from Leek in Staffordshire died and four others were injured in a collision between a car and a van in the town in July 2011.

Thieves burgled the home of her mother Fiona Knox, 49, in Chaffinch Drive, Uttoxeter, on Tuesday and stole two laptops and an external hard drive.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

The laptops were a black Dell and a silver Sony, a police spokesman said.

The break-in happened between 09:45 and 17:45 GMT.
