Five men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died during a disturbance at a pub.

Raymond Cannon, 52, was found collapsed at the Jester Pub on Biddulph Road, Stoke-on-Trent on Friday.

Further medical tests are expected to take place to confirm how he died, police said.

The men, one aged 18, two aged 20 and two aged 21, all from the Stoke-on-Trent area, have been released pending further inquiries.

Paramedics tried to resuscitate Mr Cannon but he was confirmed dead at the scene, Staffordshire Police said.
