Man dies after Jester pub disturbance in Stoke-on-Trent

A man has died after a disturbance at a pub in Stoke-on-Trent.

The 51-year-old was found collapsed at the Jesters pub on Biddulph Road at about midnight on Friday.

Paramedics tried to resuscitate him but he was confirmed dead at the scene, a spokesman for Staffordshire Police said.

Detectives have started an investigation and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
