Two teenagers have been arrested after thousands of pounds worth of sheds, greenhouses and plants were damaged at allotments near Stoke-on-Trent.

Gardeners on the allotments off Nantwich Road, Audley, said sheds had been torn down, trees uprooted and tools burnt in the attacks.

Police said they had stepped up patrols in the area, after the damage was caused over eight nights.

The two 15-year-olds have since been released on bail.
