Deal or No Deal winner charged with benefit fraud
A woman who won £95,000 on the TV show Deal or No Deal has been charged with benefit fraud.
Caroline Banana, 40, of Bentilee in Stoke-on-Trent, is accused of not declaring her winnings.
She is being prosecuted by Stoke-on-Trent City Council and will appear before magistrates on Feb 20.
The council alleges Mrs Banana was overpaid £6,758.01 in housing benefit, council tax and income support between March 28 2011 and May 13 2012.
She will appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on February 20 to face the charges, the council said.
