Firefighters are tackling a large blaze at a former factory in Stoke-on-Trent.
Emergency services were called to Garner Street, in the Etruria area, at about 16:20 GMT on Friday.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said at its height, 80 firefighters and 10 appliances were used to tackle the fire at the former Twyford building.
Four pumps remain at the scene as crews continue to put out the blaze. Garner Street is still closed in both directions.
There were reports of a number of explosions at the site, which is next to one branch of the West Coast mainline. Some train services were delayed on Friday as a result of the fire.
Police said there was also heavy smoke in the area and drivers had been urged to take care.
Rebecca Bryant, from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue, said people living in the area were being advised to keep their doors and windows closed.
