Staffordshire explosions: Three more men charged

Police investigating a series of explosions in Staffordshire have charged three men with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Three houses in Blythe Bridge, Cheadle and Weston Coyney sustained minimal damage in the explosions on 3 August.

The men, aged 52, 48 and 31, have been released on bail to appear before Newcastle magistrates on 21 December, Staffordshire Police said.

Seven men were previously charged with conspiracy to blackmail.

They are due at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 19 December.
