Seven in hospital following Lichfield crash

Seven people have been taken to hospital after a minibus crashed in Staffordshire.

Emergency services were called to the Wall Island on Birmingham Road, in Lichfield, during the early hours.

A West Midlands Ambulance spokesman said seven men, aged in their 20s and 30s, were hurt, including three who were trapped in the vehicle.

The men were teated for pelvic, back and chest injuries. No other vehicles are thought to have been involved.
