Staffordshire explosions: Arrested pair released
Police were called to Dandillion Avenue in Cheadle at about 22:00 BST on Friday
Two men arrested in connection with three explosions across Staffordshire have been released on police bail.
Police were called to homes in Blythe Bridge, Cheadle and Weston Coyney after reports of explosions on Friday night.
A Cheadle man, 44, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder while a 40-year-old man from Bagnall was held on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
The pair were released on Sunday. Officers described the incidents as "targeted and malicious".
Police have reassured residents living near the three properties that there is no threat to the public and believe the attacks "followed a business disagreement".
They added that nobody was injured in the blasts and the three homes in Peters Lane in Blythe Bridge, Dandillion Avenue in Cheadle and Axon Crescent, Weston Coyney, sustained "minimal damage".
