Newcastle-under-Lyme death: More time to quiz man

Police have been given extra time to question a 21-year-old man over a death in Staffordshire.

Staffordshire Police said officers had been called to a flat in Hempstalls Court, Hempstalls Lane, Newcastle-under-Lyme, on Tuesday night.

A man found there was pronounced dead by paramedics and his death is being treated as unexplained. A post-mortem examination will take place later.

Another man, 20, and 15-year-old boy have been released on police bail.
