A man driving a mobility scooter has died after being involved in a crash with a bus, Staffordshire Police said.
The elderly victim, who has not yet been named by police, was pronounced dead after being taken to University Hospital North Staffordshire.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman described the accident, in Princess Way, Burton-on-Trent, as a "serious collision".
The bus driver and passengers were not injured in the accident.
