Steelite pottery firm to create 200 jobs with expansion
More than 200 jobs are to be created at a Staffordshire pottery firm.
Steelite, in Stoke-on-Trent, has announced it is building a new £12m factory on its Middleport site.
Factory bosses said 230 jobs would be created from the expansion, due to be finished next year. The company already employs about 700 people.
Wendy Dean, from the firm, said: "We're making sure we have the right skills going forward so we can fulfil the orders."
The company said sales for 2011 had increased to £66.3m and profits reached £7.9m.
