A block at a former Stoke-on-Trent high school has been demolished.

A controlled explosion took place on Sunday at the former Longton High School, which was last attended by pupils in July.

The £17.3m Sandon Business and Enterprise College in Meir, which was officially opened in February 2008, has taken ex-Longton High School pupils.

Some of them filmed the demolition at the former school, which was built in the 1950s.
