Gunmen break into Doncaster home and threaten couple

Two men broke into a Doncaster couple's home and threatened them with a handgun.

The pair forced their way into a house in Ravensworth Road, Hyde Park, at around 21:45 BST on Saturday, South Yorkshire Police said.

They then threatened a 56-year-old woman and her 55-year-old husband with what is believed to have been a handgun.

The woman managed to get away and the two men fled the scene.

The first man was black, in his early 30s and of muscular build, with a goatee beard. The second man was aged between 20 and 25 and of slim build.
