Murder inquiry into Sheffield woman's death

A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a woman in Sheffield.

The body of the 39-year-old was found at a house in Vickers Road, in Firth Park, at about 11.35 BST on Sunday.

South Yorkshire Police said three men aged 83, 42 and 20 were arrested on suspicion of murder. The 83-year-old and 20-year-old have been bailed.

Officers investigating the woman's death have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place later.

A force spokesman said Vickers Road is likely to remain closed for the next 24 hours while enquiries are ongoing.
