Explosive end for Doncaster Council's former headquarters

21 July 2014 Last updated at 05:47 BST

The former headquarters of Doncaster Council have been demolished by a controlled explosion to make way for a regeneration scheme.

The 12-storey Council House was home to the authority for more than 20 years until January 2013.

The area is being redeveloped as a civic and cultural quarter, featuring new council offices, a theatre, a public square and housing.
