Dewsbury woman in court over Sheffield cyclist's death

A woman charged with causing the death of a cyclist in Sheffield by dangerous driving has appeared in court.

Eric Codling, 55, from Millhouses in Sheffield, died after he was struck on Whirlowdale Road on 3 November.

Emma Egan is also charged with driving over the prescribed limit, failing to stop and failing to report a road traffic collision.

The 26-year-old, of Spindle Close, Dewsbury, was bailed to appear at the city's crown court on 29 May.
