Man charged over Sheila Wild death in Doncaster

A 51-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a woman at a house in South Yorkshire.

Sheila Wild, 49, was found strangled at the property on Thorne Road in Blaxton, Doncaster at about 18:00 GMT on Wednesday.

Raymond Wild, 51, also of Thorne Road in Blaxton, was found unconscious at the property. He was taken to hospital and arrested on suspicion of murder.

Mr Wild is due to appear at Doncaster Magistrates' Court on Monday.
