Gary Collins death: Man arrested on suspicion of murder

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a man's body in Barnsley.

The body of Gary Collins, 51, was found at an address on Sackville Street on Tuesday after his family raised concerns over his welfare.

A post-mortem examination proved inconclusive and further tests would be carried out to establish the cause of Mr Collins' death, police said.

The 27-year-old arrested man remains in custody, said South Yorkshire Police.

While a formal identification had not yet been carried out, officers said they were satisfied the body was that of Mr Collins.
