Calvin Clarke killing: Sheffield man denies stabbing

A man has denied stabbing another man to death in Sheffield.

Calvin Clarke, 45, was found injured in Dixon Lane, close to Snig Hill police station, on 27 September.

He was taken to the city's Northern General Hospital where he died four days later.

Orrett Duncan, 40, denied murder and being in possession of an offensive weapon when he appeared at Sheffield Crown Court.

Mr Duncan, of Harborough Close, Manor, was remanded in custody and will stand trial on 4 June.

Mustafa Sulaiman Hamdoon, 18, of St Barnabas Road in Sheffield and Mark Walker, 18, of Kimberworth Park Road, Rotherham, both denied perverting the course of justice at the hearing.

Mr Walker was bailed and Mr Hamdoon was remanded in custody.
