Man arrested after Sheffield bus drivers robbed at gunpoint

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of robbing two bus drivers at gunpoint in Sheffield.

The first driver was robbed by a man with a gun at the Westfield Centre just before midnight on 18 December, said South Yorkshire Police.

Another bus driver reported he had been the victim of a similar robbery at gunpoint near the same location at about 21:25 GMT on 21 December.

The arrested man has been bailed while investigations continue, said police.
