Burngreave onion factory's top floor to be demolished

The top floor of an onion pickling factory in South Yorkshire that was destroyed by fire is to be demolished.

Firefighters and structural engineers examined the factory in Sheffield, following the serious fire on Saturday.

The blaze at the three-storey building on Gower Street in Burngreave, required 40 firefighters to tackle the flames.

A crew has remained at the scene to damp down, as the decision to pull down part of the building was made.
