The widow of a cyclist who died after being in collision with a car has appealed for witnesses.

Eric Codling, 55, from Millhouses, in Sheffield, died in hospital after the collision with a black Vauxhall Astra.

The crash happened on Whirlowdale Road, near the junction with Abbey Lane, at about 08:00 GMT on 3 November.

Ahead of the funeral on Friday, Karen Codling urged anyone who saw the crash to contact police. Three men and one woman have been arrested and bailed.

Mrs Codling said she wanted the people responsible to be caught and "justice for the girls and for me".

She added: "If anybody saw anything at all, either before the accident, the accident itself, or after the accident, we just need anybody to come forward and give a statement to the police."
