Bawtry doctor denies sex assault charges

A doctor accused of indecently assaulting 13 women and girls at his surgery has denied all charges in a hearing at Sheffield Crown Court.

Andrew Johnson, 61, from Bawtry, is alleged to have assaulted women aged between 14 and 46.

He is charged with ten counts of indecent assault and three of sexual assault between 1978 and 2005.

Dr Johnson pleaded not guilty on Wednesday and was bailed. He is expected to face a trial in February.
