A teenager has been remanded in custody charged with the murder of a 23-year-old man who was stabbed in Sheffield.

Joe Walker, from Intake, Sheffield, was found injured off Rayland Road, in the Manor area of the city, on Saturday.

A 17-year-old youth from Sheffield, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at the city's crown court on Friday.

Police investigating the death arrested a 16-year-old girl on suspicion of murder and assisting an offender.

South Yorkshire Police have asked anyone with information about the circumstances surrounding Mr Walker's death to get in touch.
