Doncaster men charged with child sex offences

Two men have been charged with dozens of sexual offences against children.

Anthony Marsh, 53, of Menson Drive, Hatfield, and Lee Davis, 39, from Rowena Road, Conisbrough, were remanded into custody by magistrates in June.

The charges relate to offences alleged to have taken place between 2005-2013 including conspiracy to commit sexual activity with children and rape.

The two men are due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on 27 September.

South Yorkshire Police, who have only just revealed details of the charges, said Mr Marsh, also known as Tony Taylor and Tony Smith had been charged with 36 offences including possessing and distributing indecent images of children and sexual activity with a child.

Mr Davis, also known as James Parkin, faces 32 charges including rape, sexual activity with a child and taking indecent photographs of a child.

A spokesperson from the force said: "Anyone with any concerns about this case should contact South Yorkshire Police on 0114 220 2855."
