Man charged with murder following Sheffield street attack

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man attacked in a Sheffield street.

Bahman Yusif Amin, 33, from Firth Park, was found with multiple injuries on Andover Street, Pitsmoor, at 19:00 BST on Monday.

He died an hour later at the Northern General Hospital, police said.

Nawzad Kamal, 38, from Burngreave, was remanded in custody by magistrates and is expected to appear next at Sheffield Crown Court on 26 June.
