Woman murdered in Barnsley named by police

A woman found dead in Barnsley has been named by police as Chantelle Barnsdale-Quean.

The body of the 35-year-old from Darfield was found at a property on Upperwood Road on 4 March.

A 42-year-old man who was found with stab wounds has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

South Yorkshire Police said he was being questioned by officers after being discharged from hospital on Wednesday.
