South Yorkshire Police hunt gunmen in two shooting incidents

Police in Sheffield are appealing for witnesses after two firearms incidents in the city.

The force said they believed the two shootings on Friday were not related.

In the first incident a man fired a pistol at a group of people standing on Aylward Road.

In the second incident a 28-year-old local man received "very minor injuries" after the car he was travelling in was hit by gunfire on Park Grange Road,

Police described the first incident as a "targeted attack".
