Two men accused of murdering a church organist in Sheffield have appeared at the city's crown court.

Father-of-four Alan Greaves, 68, died three days after he was attacked on his way to midnight mass on Christmas Eve.

Jonathan Bowling, 22, of Wesley Road, High Green, and Ashley Foster, 21, of Carwood Way, Pitsmoor, appeared by video link at Sheffield Crown Court.

The court set a provisional trial date of 24 June. The men will next appear at the court on 12 April.

Two other men are currently on bail in connection with the death of Mr Greaves.
