Denaby stabbing: Police given more time to quiz suspects

Police have been given more time to question two people arrested on suspicion of murder following a man's death in South Yorkshire.

James King, 40, died of a stab wound in his flat at Tadcaster Close, Denaby, near Doncaster, early on Saturday.

A 36-year-old man and 33-year-old woman, both from the local area, were arrested on suspicion of murder.

A police spokeswoman said officers had until Wednesday to question the pair while inquiries continued.

South Yorkshire Police urged anyone with information about the death to come forward.
